JAKOB MEIR

Jakob Meir is a multi-instrumentalist, band director, music educator, ethnomusicologist, and the founder of Musical Arts Camp Hawaii. He has run variety of music programs in Honolulu, including concert bands, jam sessions, and an annual summer music and arts camp. Jakob completed his Bachelor of Music degree as a classical oboe and guitar player at the Aaron Copland School of Music and has a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from CUNY Queens College. He completed his graduate studies in ethnomusicology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
